Cleo Goodman × Will Stronge

Summary

Cleo Goodman and Will Stronge are colleagues at the think tank Autonomy who collaborated on the design and promotion of a proposed Universal Basic Income micro-pilot in England. Will Stronge is described as ‘director of research at Autonomy’, while Cleo Goodman is described as working at Autonomy (Source 3: ‘the proposals were designed in close collaboration with the community itself as well as with Northumbria University and Cleo Goodman who works at Autonomy’). Goodman is also co-founder of Basic Income Conversation, ‘a programme run by Autonomy’ (Source 4). Both publicly advocated for the pilot: Goodman stating ‘We’re hopeful that this plan will result in the first ever basic income pilots in England’ and Stronge stating ‘All the evidence shows that it would directly alleviate poverty and boost millions of people’s wellbeing.’ They also appeared together as speakers at ‘Basic Income x The World Transformed’ at The World Transformed 2023 (Source 7).
